Juneteenth Parade

Mulan & Dragon, Elsa, Cinderella, Snow White & the 7 Dwarves, Black Panther Characters, Spider-Man, Power Ranger, Sonic the Hedgehog, and all of Team Bama will be at the Juneteenth Parade this year. We’re so excited to see you and celebrate Juneteenth National Independence Day!
Juneteenth celebrates June 19, 1865, when Major General Gordon Granger and Union troops reached Galveston, TX, with news of the Civil War’s end. Taking place 2 1/2 years after the Emancipation Proclamation, it represented the end of slavery in the United States. For more information, please watch the video here:
